The Bar Method Hoboken studio provides an effective, fun, and challenging experience in each class while creating a community that is welcoming, supportive, and inspiring. Our Bar Method Staff (who we consider family) strives to do that from the moment you walk through the door. We are here to challenge and reshape your body, strengthen your mind, improve your confidence, and enhance your life through one incredibly targeted and effective hour at the barre. The result is longer leaner muscles, better posture, increased core strength, and an improved mindset.

We love new clients and we want you to love The Bar Method Hoboken too. We have a 30 Day Trial Membership for New Clients for just $99!  This includes unlimited classes for 30 days.

This introductory offer is a fabulous opportunity to become familiar with the workout, start to feel the benefits and see the results…at an amazing price! Take class 3-5 times per week and watch your body change. New clients typically begin to see results after 30 days of consistent classes.

The New Client Special is available for purchase online and at The Bar Method Hoboken studio. Take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy a lot of classes at a great price. These packages are for exclusive use at The Bar Method Hoboken location and are limited to one purchase per new client.

New Client Policy

First time students are required to arrive 15 minutes early to class to complete our New Client Questionnaire.  Admittance is NOT permitted once class has started.  You will receive a brief tour of the facility from one of our staff members and meet your instructor.

* For safety compliance, new clients who arrive after class has started will not be permitted to participate and will have to wait for the next open class. We cannot allow first-time clients to enter class after it has started.

Class Descriptions

Mixed Level
The classic 60-minute Bar Method class designed for all levels.
It is a full-body workout made up of isometric exercises that
strengthen and tone all major muscle groups, followed by
intervals of stretching to help elongate, lengthen and align the body.
Level 1 / Bar Basics
A 60-minute beginner class for those who want a basic class with
fewer reps and extra time for set-ups and stretching.  This class also
gives a little extra guidance from the teacher and is a great
way to learn and perfect the method!
Bar Express
This 45-minute class gets your sculpted and back to your
day with time to spare! This fast-paced class provides a
full body workout and is designed for all levels.
Level 2*
An advanced class that is a slight variation of our traditional
Mixed level class, with slightly more challenging choreography
& additional reps and sets.
*Requires a minimum of 10 classes
Bar Move*
This advanced class offers a cardio boost by keeping
the heart rate elevated throughout the hour with brief set ups,
little downtime between exercises, and an unexpected
sequence for an element of surprise.
*Requires a minimum of 20 classes

Select and purchase the 30 Day New Client Monthly Unlimited Special for $99 by clicking here. Your package will activate the day of your first class, not the day of purchase.

Reserve a class weeks in advance to secure your spot. Arrive at least 15 minutes early because you will not be able to join your first class after it begins. If you want to purchase a single class first, and then on the same day, decide to buy the New Client Special, we will credit the cost of your first single class toward the purchase of the New Client Special. Bring socks, workout pants (that cover your knees) and any top (tank top/t-shirt, etc.). Make sure you have had something light to eat 1-2 hours before class. Please note, NO cell phones or gum are allowed in the studio.

Injuries and Modifications

The Bar Method provides a safe environment for students with varying limitations, abilities and strengths to work toward common fitness goals in a noncompetitive atmosphere.  The Bar Method instructors can tailor the workout to students with special needs and ensure that each student gains the maximum benefit from their class.
